Rebellion

Generally, I like to be in harmony with things.  However, what happened last night ruffled my feathers which inspired me to act.  I follow my inspirations.

This is about a series of short TV shows in the genre of popular science, which was highly recommended by a dear friend who gave me a link to watch it online.  I say this because, usually, I don’t watch TV.  Only when I sit somewhere in a waiting room but only if I can’t look anywhere else.

The show is called “Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey“.  I add a part of the synopsis of a page I will give you the link in a second or two.  Here is the link my friend gave me.

>> Hosted by astrophysicist Dr Neil deGrasse Tyson, Cosmos explores how we discovered the laws of nature, space and time. It transports viewers to new worlds and across the universe for a vision of the cosmos on the grandest scale. Scientific concepts are presented with clarity, uniting scepticism and wonder, weaving rigorous science with spirituality. <<

I watched the first of 13 shows and besides the sometimes overdone show effects there occurred several moments when I was surprised and touched.  So much so that I wanted to watch the next show.  After I clicked on the next link this information popped up:

Connection rejected.

This video has been removed due to a breach
of the Terms of Use.

It didn’t say anything about the Terms of Use, whose terms they are or a way to assert my right to free information, my freedom.  I tried the next show, the same and so on.  This was what ruffled my feathers.

I googled the show.  There were quite a few links for streaming or downloading but when I tried them they were all blocked.  What’s going on BIG BROTHER?

Cutting a long story short.  Here is a link from where I was able to download the show.  The page is called The EZTV Torrents, which is a torrent download page.  I have not seen the downloaded shows but I am very intrigued to see what someone tries to hide from us.
